A MAN and a woman have been charged with the murder of Mt Isa man Aaron Dale Macfarlane who died on January 4.
Security officers reported seeing a motorist leave the former mine worker outside the hospital about 9.30pm and drive off in a vehicle similar to a white VN Commodore.
Last week homicide detectives and the SES conducted a search of the causeway and surrounding bushland near the Moondarra caravan park in northern Mt Isa after receiving a tip from the public.
A 27-year-old man was arrested in Townsville and charged with murder. A 19-year-old woman was charged with one count of accessory after the fact to murder.

Both are expected to appear in the Townsville Magistrates Court at 9am tomorrow.
