A man is in hospital after being stabbed in a fight at a shopping centre in the Blue Mountains.
Police were called to the shopping centre in Hazelbrook after reports of a scuffle between two men on Monday afternoon.
A 41-year-old man was found with multiple stab wounds to his neck and chest and was airlifted to Westmead Hospital for emergency surgery.
He is in a serious but stable condition, police say.
A 50-year-old man charged over the stabbing is due to appear in Katoomba Local Court on Tuesday.
