A man has allegedly threatened his ex-girlfriend and rammed her car while she was behind the wheel during a domestic dispute in Sydney’s west.
The 27-year-old woman had driven from a home in Hanbury Street, Greystanes, in a friend’s Toyota Hilux on Monday.
Police said her former partner, a 36-year-old man, was following her in his own car.
They allege he threatened the woman repeatedly before deliberately ramming the Hilux with his own vehicle, a Holden Barina, in Merrylands Road at Merrylands.
The man ran from the scene when police arrived but was arrested later at North Rocks.
He has been charged with several offences including predatory driving, stalking and common assault.
The man was refused bail and will appear in Fairfield Local Court on Tuesday.
A relative of the man, a 26-year-old woman from Seven Hills, was also charged after she allegedly assaulted a police officer at Merrylands Police Station.
She will appear in the same court on August 8 facing one count each of assault police and resist police.
