A man who crashed his bicycle while navigating a sharp curve in the Royal National Park south of Sydney has been airlifted to hospital with head injuries.
The 60-year-old man from the northern Wollongong suburb of Corrimal came off his bike while riding near the Waterfall weir.
He suffered head, shoulder, chest, arm and hip injuries and was knocked unconscious for about five minutes, CareFlight said in a statement.
Ambulance paramedics and a CareFlight trauma team treated the man at the scene around 10.30am.
He was then flown to St George Hospital and was in a stable condition on arrival.
