A construction worker has died after falling from scaffolding in Sydney’s CBD.
Police say the worker fell at a building site on the corner of Pitt Street and Campbell Street in Haymarket just before 8am (AEDT) on Tuesday.
He was dead when ambulance crews arrived.
Workcover and Construction, Forestry, Mining and Energy Union (CFMEU) personnel are on site investigating the incident.
Police will prepare a report for the coroner.
