A man has died after a head-on collision that closed a southern Queensland highway for several hours.
Police closed the Cunningham Highway at Morwincha, west of Boonah, after two cars collided at around 8am (AEST) on Wednesday.
A 31-year-old man and two women were airlifted to hospital in Brisbane but the man later died, police said.
He became the 26th person to die on Australia’s roads over the holiday period, and the sixth person killed on Queensland roads.
