A MAN has been charged over a crash that killed a 22-year-old man in Perth on New Year’s Eve.
The man was travelling north in a black Nissan Silvia in Connolly, in Perth’s north, about 11am on Saturday when he crashed into a silver Ford Falcon sedan that was travelling south on the same road.
Both drivers were taken to hospital but the 22-year-old man later died from his injuries.
A 21-year-old man has been charged with dangerous driving occasioning death.
He is due to appear in the Joondalup Magistrates Court on January 16.
In a separate incident, a 20-year-old man was killed when his Suzuki Jimny rolled about 500m in Myalup, in the state’s southwest, on New Year’s Eve at 9.40am.
The man and his female passenger were taken to Peel Health Campus for treatment before he was transferred to Royal Perth Hospital, where he later died.
