Man charged after double fatality

A 25-year-old man has been charged with two counts of dangerous driving after two male passengers died in a single car crash on the Great Ocean Road on Christmas Day.

Kuljeet Kang, of Spotswood in Melbourne’s inner west, was charged in an out-of-sessions court in Geelong on Monday and has been remanded to appear in Geelong Magistrates Court on Wednesday.

The double fatality occurred along the Great Ocean Road at Princetown on Sunday afternoon when the car left the road and hit a tree.
