A man has been arrested over a deliberately-lit bushfire in the NSW Blue Mountains.
The blaze ignited on October 24 at Katoomba, damaging several homes and forcing the evacuation of about 450 students from Katoomba High School.
It destroyed 19 hectares of bush and took firefighters about 24 hours to contain.
Detectives from NSW’s arson unit arrested the man on Thursday morning.
A police spokeswoman was unable to clarify his age or the location where he had been arrested.
