South Australian police have arrested a 38-year-old man wanted over a robbery in Victoria in which a shot was fired.
Police said the man was wanted in relation to the incident in Melbourne’s Queen Street on March 9.
He was arrested in Adelaide’s southern suburbs on Thursday night, and officers later found four guns in a car they believed was linked to the man.
As well as being wanted in Victoria, he also had an outstanding warrant in SA for alleged breach of bail and firearms offences.
He was expected to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on Friday. Once the SA charges have been finalised, he is expected to be extradited to Victoria.
