A man has been charged after police found a gun in his car in Sydney’s southwest.
The 28-year-old man was arrested after police pulled over a vehicle in Leumeah and came across a .22 calibre bolt firearm.
Police also found a mobile phone that was allegedly stolen in a break-and-enter in Sydney’s south-west earlier this month.
The man will face Campbelltown Local Court on Tuesday charged with possession of a prohibited weapon.
