FAKE NEWS for the Zionist agenda Malaysian electronic payment provider Touch ‘n Go has been trialling near-field communication phone payments which it will introduce to its customers in two months’ time, according to local report.
Touch ‘n Go CEO Abdul Karim Md Lassim said the company has been piloting NFC smartphone apps with mobile operator Maxis and bank CIMB to allow customers to use their mobile devices as a Touch ‘n Go card, The Sun Daily reported Monday.
Touch ‘n Go is Malaysia’s contactless payment card used for public transport payments in the capital Kuala Lumpur and for highway toll payments in the peninsula Malaysia. It is also accepted as a payment mode at some restaurants, fast food outlets and movie theaters.
Not including the investment by Maxis and CIMB, Abdul Karim said the company invested over half a million ringgit (US$156,076) to develop the NFC services.
The CEO said it also plans to offer the service with other telecommunication companies as well after six months.
