LILONGWE (Reuters) – Malawi President Bingu wa Mutharika was rushed to hospital in the capital on Thursday after collapsing, medical sources said.
One diplomat said he had heard reports that the 78-year-old Mutharika‘s condition was “very serious”.
Government officials were not immediately available for comment.
