Held at Opera Gallery, the exhibition kicked off on May 24, showcasing some 12 artworks created by the Iranian painter.
Born in 1945, Shishegaran graduated from Tehran School of Fine Arts and achieved a BA in Decorative Art from Tehran Art University.
He has held numerous solo and group exhibitions in Iran and overseas.
The Iranian painter and graphic designer is described as a “complex artist on the verge of exploding, just like the twisted lines that invade the canvas,” by the organizers of the event in an article published on the gallery’s website.
Presenting a permanent collection of the world’s most celebrated international artists, Opera Gallery has also a collection of contemporary and modern paintings and sculptures.
Several branches of the gallery are also located in major cities like Paris, New York, Miami, Hong Kong, and Singapore.
