Liberal National Party (LNP) faithful will continue their biggest get together in the party’s history at the weekend.
More than 850 delegates have descended on Brisbane to learn about the direction the LNP is taking over the next 12 months at the party’s annual convention.
On Saturday, they will hear from federal deputy opposition leader Julie Bishop and Nationals’ leader Warren Truss.
Brisbane’s lord mayor Graham Quirk will speak on Sunday.
Delegates on Friday heard from Premier Campbell Newman and Opposition leader Tony Abbott.
