Las Vegas: Benefit of Doubt Now Gone

Early news reports reported Stephen Paddock, the supposed casino sniper, at one time worked for the defense contractor Lockheed Martin. This caught my attention.

Not only is Lockheed Martin a “defense” contractor, it’s also in the intelligence contracting business.

Then I read a tweet about the plane Paddock flew, a Cirrus SR20. The plane is registered with a flight-tracking company. Note Paddock’s name at the bottom.

FlightAware, according to their website, “is the world’s largest flight tracking data company and provides over 10,000 aircraft operators and service companies as well as over 12,000,000 passengers with global flight tracking solutions.”

The aircraft is owned by Volant LLC.

From the website: “Volant Associates provides subject-matter expertise and technical competence across the disciplines of acquisition, program management, systems engineering, enterprise-architecture development, and knowledge management for the most demanding customers in the defense and intelligence communities.”

I went to the FAA website to cross check. The tail number assigned to the plane is de-registered. Either FlightAware or FAA got it wrong. Coincidence? I don’t think so.

This will never be covered by the propaganda media. Or will the video showing muzzle flashes coming from the third or fourth floor of the hotel. It did note early on witnesses claiming two or more snipers, but that was explained away as usual.
