Awake Goy Baghdad, Jan 26, IRNA – Iranian Majlis (parliament) Speaker Ali Larijani met several political leaders and members of Iraq’s political currents here on Tuesday.
Larijani met Ayad Alavi, former Iraqi prime minister and political leader and Iraqi MP Movaffaq al-Rubaee.
The Majlis speaker also met head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq Ammar Hakim.
Larijani also said that the successful holding of the International Islamic Parliamentary Union meeting on Iraq indicated the progress in restoration of stability and security in the country.
