Awake Goy When the video begins, the cameraman can be heard saying: “This might be the worst idea in the whole f***ing world.” The soldiers would soon realize there was truth to that statement.
The footage goes on to show a soldier reportedly named Frank approaching the camel, which is peacefully chewing on some grass. The man approaches, getting someone nearby to move the camel’s head away from him.
But it wasn’t a potential bite that Frank had to worry about. Instead, it was the camel’s hind legs.
As he approaches to slap the camel, its right hind leg lifts up, giving the soldier a swift kick. The leg was cocked in advance, as though it understood exactly what was about to happen.
The move prompts a wave of hysterical laughter from other soldiers, while Frank simply says: “That was not a good idea.”
The video was originally filmed in 2010, but has since resurfaced and become popular on social media. Many sharing the video on Twitter have described the incident as “karma.”
