If you can’t spring for first class on Air France, this is the next best thing. Shot by Mayeul Akpovi, “Paris In Motion (Part I)” captures morning until night, with glimpses of historic landmarks like the Arc de Triomphe, the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, the Montmartre Funicular and La Grand Arche. The city’s most modern architecture juxtaposed against marvels of the past is breathtaking, and gives the web’s gawkers a sense of Paris’ success in harmoniously mixing the new with the old.
The video’s title lets on that this is the first in a series of Parisian stop motions, and we can’t wait for the next one. In the meantime, join us in drooling over one of the world’s most gorgeous cities, complete with an Eiffel Tower disco ball.
