JewishCare and Jewish House have signed an MOU this afternoon to provide a comprehensive and coordinated approach to unemployment in our community by working together to support those who are facing unemployment. A range of services will be offered including both individual and group support to help upskill clients and maximise their employability.
The two organisations will facilitate joint activities such as training workshops, one on one mentoring programs as well as coaching and skills development workshops. The ultimate goal is successful job placement for candidates.
“This initiative is particularly timely with Job Keeper coming to an end. Our community are going to need extra support and we are here to help. For the first time we will be combining and streamlining our resources and we will have capacity to help more people and double our impact. I look forward to seeing our teams working together in partnership for a successful outcome with our community”, commented Gary Groves, CEO, JewishCare.
