“Gorestep” is a fairly new musical genre created by Asaf Borgore, the celebrated Israeli experimental DJ musician that integrates Dubstep with Heavy Metal. Borgore describes the genre to us, “The drops are very heavy. Getting inspiration from the metal world for the drops is very useful. The drops then just become heavier.”

Borgore is also the founder of Buygore records and former drummer of Israeli death metal band Shabira.

Borgore recently said that his shows are better than going to the strip club: “Because I’m playing good music, and then there’s two amazing pole dancers that are, like, doing something between pole dancing and Cirque du Soleil. Come to my show, get drunk and see some ladies, which is better than going to a strip club and ending the night sad.”
