Popular iOS game Jetpack Joyride is now on Facebook, and for free.
Like the mobile version, Jetpack Joyride’s Facebook incarnation relies on voluntary microtransactions to keep it afloat, as players can pay up to customize airborne adventurer Barry Steakfries in an effort to thrash their friends’ high scores.
The game, which is by the Fruit Ninja developer Halfbrick Studios, follows in the footsteps of Zynga acquisition Words With Friends, which launched on mobile in August 2009 before making the leap to Mark Zuckerberg’s social network two years later.
