OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, (PIC)– The Israeli prison service (IPS) extended the solitary confinement of two Palestinian prisoners in Beersheba jail for one month.

Lawyer of the Palestinian prisoner’s society quoted one of them Samer Abu Kuwaik as saying that a court session would be held on 18/3/2013 to discuss their isolation anew.

He said that the IPS was also imposing on him and on Tamer Al-Rimawi other penalties including visit deprivation until 15/3/2013.

Both prisoners, from Ramallah, were transferred from Eshel prison a month ago as a punishment.

Kuwaik, who has been detained since 10/6/2002, is serving three life sentences plus 25 years, while Rimawi, who has been in custody since 28/5/2003, is serving three life sentences.
