Israeli navy kidnaps 6 fishermen, confiscate 2 boats in Gaza

Days of Palestine, Gaza Strip -Israeli occupation navy kidnapped on Friday morning four Palestinian fishermen, confiscated two fishing boats off Gaza coast.

Security sources reported the Israeli navy chased the Palestinian fishermen along the coastline in the southern Gaza Strip city of Rafah and opened fire at them.

“The fishermen fled the sea, but the Israeli navy could catch two fishing boats with four fishermen on board and towed them deep in the sea,” the security sources in Gaza said, giving no information about their fate.

Fellow fishermen identified the kidnapped as Ahmed al-Bardaweel, 27, Iyad al-Bardaweel, 23, Mohamed Mosleh, 31, and his brother Bilal Mosleh, 22.

It is worth mentioning that the Israeli occupation kidnapped two other fishermen off the Gaza sea along the coastline of the Middle Area in the Gaza Strip.

The two fishermen were identified as Iyad Olwan and Raed abu-Odah from the southern Gaza city of Khan Younis.

Olwan, our sources said, has spent 11 years inside Israeli jails.
