Israeli forces shoot Palestinian near Bethlehem

Days of Palestine, West Bank –Israeli occupation forces shot on Monday morning Palestinian citizen near West Bank city of Bethlehem, leaving him with serious wounds.

The Palestinian, who is still unidentified, is believed to be a worker and he was shot after he was viewed in the illegal settlement.

Palestinian activist Salim abu-Tawfiq said that the Israeli occupation forces started to deal with the Palestinian workers inside the illegal Israeli Jewish settlements as enemies after a government decision to ban them from entering these “cancer spots.”

Israeli army spokesperson claimed that the Palestinian attempted to stab an Israel Jewish settlers inside the illegal settlement of Tekeo, but gave no more details to prove their claims.

The Israeli authorities initially informed the Palestinian Authority that the Palestinian man was killed, but later on, they said he was wounded and sustained critical injuries.

According to the Israeli sources, the Palestinian was evacuated to an Israeli hospital, where he has been subject for surgical operations.
