Israeli occupation forces murdered Palestinian civilian on Friday night and wounded five others near eastern borders of Khan Younis, in the south of Gaza Strip.
Participants in the Great March of Return said that the Israeli tanks in the Israeli side of the borders opened fire at them at midnight; once near Gaza city and another near Khan Younis.
Spokesman of the Palestinian Ministry of Health Ashraf al-Qidra said that the Palestinian youth Omar Sammour, 27, who was shelled in Khan Younis, arrived dead in the hospital.
Al-Qidra also said that six others were admitted to hospital –one in Khan Younis and five in the Gaza City.
He noted that the one admitted to the hospital in Khan Younis suffered moderate injuries and remained several hours in the IUC.
It is worth mentioning that the Israeli occupation army has stationed 100 snipers along the eastern borders of the Gaza Strip.
The Israeli government officials along with American officials have been inciting against the “peaceful” Great March of Return, which to start on 30 March, Palestine Land Day, and last until 15 May –the anniversary of the Palestinian Nakba.
