Israeli occupation forces shot dead on Thursday afternoon Palestinian man in West Bank village of Taqu, eyewitnesses reported.
Eyewitnesses said that the Israeli occupation forces opened fire at the Palestinian man as he passed near them aiming to cross the road.
“When he got closer to one of the Israeli military jeeps, the Israeli occupation forces opened fire at him from a very close distance,” Suhail Alawi, who was present when the shooting took place, told Days of Palestine.
The Israeli occupation forces kept the Palestinian man bleeding to death while he was near the military jeep. “They prevented paramedics from approaching the martyr,” Alawi said.
Palestinian medical sources identified the Palestinian as Mohamed Tannouh, 20, noting that his body was taken by the Israeli occupation forces who blocked him in Etzion Military Camp.
According to the Palestinian medical sources, the Israeli occupation forces shot the man with eight live bullets, including one in the head.
Spokesman of the Israeli occupation army claimed that the Palestinian man was shot dead after he attempted to stab Israeli soldiers.
