Israeli forces kidnap 10 fishermen, steal their boats

Days of Palestine, Gaza Strip -Israeli occupation navy kidnapped on Wednesday morning ten Palestinian fishermen off the Gaza coast and stole their fishing boats.

Our reporter said that the Israeli occupation kidnapped the ten fishermen and confiscated four fishing boats the fishermen used beefier they were kidnapped.

The fishermen, the reporter said, belongs Baker and Tarroush families; to two families known for their work in the Gaza sea.

Israeli occupation media reported the kidnapping and the confiscation of the fishing boats, claiming that the fishermen crossed the limited fishing limits.

However, the Head of the Fishermen Syndicate Nizar Ayyash denied the Israeli claims, stressing that the fishermen spread their fishing nets very far from the Israeli signs put for specifying the limits of the fishing zone.

It is worth mentioning that the Israeli occupation allows the Gaza fishermen to sale only up to six nautical miles in the Mediterranean for fishing.

“Fishermen can hardly find enough catch in this area,” Ayyash said, insisting that the Israeli claims regarding the kidnapping of fishermen are always untrue.
