Israel slammed for racist policies

“In 1948, the Arabs owned more than 85 percent of the private lands. Today, we own only three percent of these lands. These numbers say everything. It is the story of evacuating, confiscating, deporting from that date of the Nakbah in 1948 until today,” he said.

Tibi also slammed Tel Aviv over the al-Quds (Jerusalem) issue.

“Palestinians are not allowed to arrive in al-Quds. From the West Bank, no Palestinians can enter. From Gaza, no Palestinians can arrive,” he said.

Israel occupied East al-Quds during the Six Day War in 1967 and since then has been building illegal settlements inside the city.

Israel claims the entire city as its capital. The Palestinians, however, say East al-Quds should be the capital of a future Palestinian state.
