The media likes to run fear stories about Covid.
The latest is climbers at Everest Base Camp (and higher) are exhibiting coughing attacks…..then went on to say there are over 100 such cases amongst climbers and support staff.
Anyone the least bit familiar with altitude climbing knows that the “coughing symptoms” on Himalayan climbs are EXCEEDINGLY COMMON….it is to do with the altitude. A “perfect” scare story to blame on Covid.
