FANS of boyband One Direction are in meltdown mode on Twitter tonight with news one of the fab five, Niall Horan, has touched down for a holiday visit in Melbourne.
Social media was awash with speculation the star was out here visiting family while the band take a rest from touring, with a clandestine snap at Australian Customs, taken by a canny fan being touted as proof the popster was in town.
#NiallisinMelbourne was trending on Twitter earlier tonight as fans tried to pinpoint his potential whereabouts.

Fan Chris Maheras told his Twitter friends he spotted the star and shook his hand moments ago in Melbourne’s CBD.
“Niall is in Melbourne and I just saw him in the city!! Everyone was freaking out!! Shook his hand. Nice guy,” he said.
He has since deleted the tweet.
The Herald Sun has put in calls to One Direction management for confirmation.
