Robert Downey Jr. gave several kids a memory they’ll remember for the rest of their lives on Saturday as he dropped in to Comic-Con for a surprise visit.
Downey, who plays billionaire Tony Stark in the hit franchise, admired the costumes and in one case the “Sharpie goatee” of kids who had dressed in Iron Man costumes that day. The A-lister also posed for pictures with the kids, though he never removed his sunglasses. The appearance promoted the third installment in the series, which is due in 2013.
Other celebs who made appearances during the event include Kate Beckinsale, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Michelle Williams, Colin Farrell and Mila Kunis.
