Silence narrates the story of a disabled Afghan child who shops for the people of a village he lives in.
The movie had earlier won the Grand Prize of Cabbagetown Short Film and Video Festival in Canada in August, 2015.
Produced by Iranian Young Cinema Society, Silence was awarded a Letter of Honor and UNICEF Silver Statuette at the Indian event.
The 8th International Children’s Film Festival (ICFF), known also as The Golden Elephant, is a festival conducted every two years aiming to bring together national and international children’s cinema to young audiences in India.
