TEHRAN, Feb. 2 (Shana) – An industry official said that the total production from Iran’s petrochemical complexes have surpassed 38 million tons in Dec-Jan period.
Ali-Mohammad Basagh Zadeh, Production Control Manager at Iran’s National Petrochemical Company said that the production was 4 percent higher than the corresponding period a year ago.
“Petrochemical products’ exports rose by 26 percent,” he added.
Noting the positive effects of the sanctions’ removal, Basagh Zadeh said that lower transaction and transport costs can improve Iran’s petrochemicals exports.
