Iran’s foreign minister, in an interview with IRIB on Monday, said that the new round of talks in Montreux, Switzerland, raises an opportunity to discuss the remaining technical issues.
Zarif noted that the new round of negotiations in Montreux is an appropriate opportunity so that Iran’s foreign minister and US secretary of state would discuss political topics of importance, especially the terms of immediate removal of sanctions, in order to attain a comprehensive nuclear agreement.
Zarif underscored that given the resoluteness of Iranian people in gaining access to nuclear energy for peaceful purposes, the Iranian negotiating team has been permitted by the Leader of Islamic Revolution and people of Iran to hold talks with the West on the nuclear issue.
