TEHRAN— Iranian Ambassador to Yemen Hassan Irlou has passed away from COVID-19 disease, Foreign Ministry spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh announced on Tuesday morning.
Irlou had been diagnosed with acute COVID-19 and returned to Iran via Iraqi Airways for treatment. However, he was pronounced dead on Tuesday morning.
