Moscow, Jan 27, IRNA – Deputy Iranian foreign minister for Arab and African affairs and Russian president’s envoy in Middle East Affairs met and conferred in Moscow on regional developments, particularly the Syrian crisis.
Hossein Amir-Abdollahian and Michael Bogdanov both agreed in the meeting that the only way to resolve the Syrian crisis is holding diplomatic talks among the Syrians in accordance with the UN Security Council Resolution 2254.
The two diplomats meanwhile exchanged ideas about the upcoming UN sponsored conference on January 29 among the Syrian government representatives and the country’s dissidents in Geneva.
The two officials meanwhile exchanged ideas on the prevailing status in Lebanon, Yemen, and the Persian Gulf region countries.
