According to IRIB World Service, citing IRNA, Larijani who has traveled to Istanbul to take part in the 10th round of meetings of the Islamic Inter-Parliamentary Union (IIPU), in a meeting with the Iraqi Parliament Speaker, Salim al-Jabouri, added that currently Iraq is a democratic country and therefore the problems of this country should be solved by its own people.
The Iraqi parliament speaker, for his part, said that Iran and Iraq have always condemned terrorism and should make every effort to uproot terrorism.
The Iranian Majlis speaker also separately met and conferred with the Turkish president, and the parliament speakers of Malaysia, Pakistan, Uganda, Jordan, and the Lebanese parliamentary delegation.
IIPU member states wrap up their meetings, today (Thursday).
