FAKE NEWS for the Zionist agenda “The defensive power of the Islamic Republic of Iran is for the sake of defending our land and national interests, and our strategy is not an aggressive one,” Brigadier General Yahya Rahim-Safavi, senior military adviser to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, said on Monday.
“Iran is after lasting peace and security in the Persian Gulf and …in the entire Middle East,” the commander said.
He emphasized that lasting peace and security can only be established after the withdrawal of foreign forces from the region and with the cooperation of regional countries, saying, “This is what Iran pursues in its foreign policy.”
The commander said Iran is a major security supplier of the world’s energy and stressed that countries which are in need of energy in the region cannot overlook the Islamic Republic’s position.
Rahim-Safavi said evil powers have waged an economic and cultural war against the Iranian nation by imposing political and economic sanctions and using their media machines.
Such powers intend to impose their political will on Iran but Iranians will achieve victory through their prudence, patience, unity and coherence, he pointed out.
