President Ahmadinejad on Monday launched the Zagros Combined Cycle Power Plant in the border province, IRNA reported.
The 648-megawatt plant was constructed at a cost of USD 115 million to supply electricity to Kermanshah Province.
The president also kicked off the operational phase of Qasr-e Shirin-Khosravi railroad.
The 263-km railroad will link Malayer in Hamedan Province to the border city of Khosravi in Kermanshah Province.
The Iranian chief executive also launched the first phase of the Mehr Housing Project with 1,375 residential units in the western province.
