Rome, May 24, IRNA – Minister of Health, Medical Treatment and Education Hassan Hashemi said on Tuesday that the international community should pay more attention to the status of the victims of terrorism round the globe.
He made the remarks in the 60th Health Forum 2016 in Geneva.
Speaking to reporters after the Forum, he said the status of victims of terrorism in the region such as Yemen, Afghanistan, Iraq and Syria is very serious and critical.
He called on the forum to help facilitate easy access of the world community to medical services as well as needy people in the Islamic Republic of Iran, he said.
On the sidelines of the forum, the Iranian minister is to confer with the participating officials on issues of mutual interests as well as health related issues.
Delegations from 192 countries have taken part in the six-day forum.
