The 28th round of meetings of UN Human Rights Council commences as of today (Monday), March 2, until March 27 in Geneva, Switzerland.
According to IRIB World Service, citing Fars news agency, Iran’s foreign minister is scheduled to deliver a speech at the UN Human Rights Council meeting, today, and to meet and confer with a number of participating officials, on the sidelines of these meetings.
Based on this report, Iran’s foreign minister is set to confer with his Russian and Dutch counterparts, and the UN human rights high commissioner.
Following this meeting, Iran’s foreign minister will head for Montreux to confer with the US Secretary of State over Iran’s nuclear issue.
Meanwhile, the Iranian Deputy Foreign Ministers, Seyed Abbas Araqchi, and Majid Takht-e Ravanchi, are scheduled to meet the US representative in 5+1 Group talks, Wendy Sherman, for resolution of the existing disputes on reaching a comprehensive nuclear agreement.
Iran’s Vice-President, Ali Akbar Salehi, attends this round of consultations in Montreux, Switzerland.
