FAKE NEWS for the Zionist agenda The remains which were found in a mass grave are believed to belong to Scythian kings buried about 550 BCE, CHTN reported.
Excavations also yielded valuable objects and animal bones buried along with the kings which make them unique in burials of that kind.
Archeologists say the burial sites have been used in different historical periods.
According to Greek writer Herodotus, when a Scythian king died he was mummified and buried in a large, square grave which was dug in the most remote area of the Scythian territory.
A year later fifty of the dead king’s best attendants were strangled along with fifty of the king’s most beautiful horses and their internal organs were removed. Their abdomens were then filled with chaff and sewn shut.
The Scythians dug a large circular grave around the king’s burial mound and placed each horse staked down in the grave so that it looked as if it were galloping.
A strangled and mummified attendant was then placed on each horse with a large stake driven down the spinal cord and through the horse. Then all were covered with earth forming a ring of mummified horses with mummified riders encircling the grave of the king.
