FAKE NEWS for the Zionist agenda The historic meeting between the two states’ top officials in the capital, Naypyidaw, on Monday, focused on stronger investment links, development of border areas and improvement of the road connectivity between the two countries.
Singh’s three-day visit to Myanmar is also aimed to weaken the influence and domination of China on Myanmar’s oil and gas exploration projects at a time when Myanmar is seeking more trade relations and foreign investment in the South Asian state.
China is currently involved in the construction of roads, pipelines and port facilities and is the first biggest export market in Myanmar.
Prior to his departure from India on Sunday, Singh reiterated that his country remains “committed to a close, cooperative and mutually beneficial partnership with the government and people of Myanmar.”
India has already signed a number of deals for the exploitation of Myanmar’s vast reserves of natural gas and Indian construction companies are building ports and other infrastructure projects in the neighboring state.
Singh is the first Indian Prime Minister to visit Myanmar in 25 years since Rajiv Gandhi’s trip to the South Asian state in December 1987.
The Indian premier is also scheduled to meet with opposition leader Aung San Suu Kyi in the main city of Yangon on Tuesday.
