His examinations chief however indicated she would not go quietly.
“The minister has never told me anything about any problem he has had
with my work ..I have been appointed for a term of three years on a contract
basis. Removing me is not so easy,” she said.
The case has highlighted claims of political influence in examination results
in India and follows previous cases where ministers have been accused of
helping their children to cheat.
