Two of the men were from Chennai, the capital city of the Indian state of Tamil Nadu, and the two others were from the cities of Madurai and Tirunelveli situated in the same state.
At least 16 people were injured in the bomb explosion that hit the southern city of Bangalore on April 17.
The blast reportedly occurred near the office of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Bangalore’s Malleshwaram neighborhood. Some reports said the injured were policemen deployed to the area.
Bangalore or Bengaluru, is the capital of the Karnataka state, which is preparing to go to assembly polls within days.
In February, many people were killed and injured in two bomb explosions in the southern city of Hyderabad.
In July 2008, at least one woman lost her life and several others wounded after seven bombs rocked crowded areas of Bangalore.
