TEHRAN (ISNA)- 347,529 MT of commodities worth over $169 million were traded in Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME) on June 1, with the trading value experienced a growth of 23.5%.
According to the report from IME International Affairs and PR, last week, on the domestic and export metals and minerals pit of IME, 37,947 MT of various products worth close to $43 million were traded.
On this trading floor, 24,762 MT of steel products, 6,000 MT of aluminum, 6,985 MT of copper products and 140 MT of molybdenum concentrate were traded.
On domestic and export oil and petrochemical trading floors of IME, 293,041 MT of different commodities with the total value of $114 million were traded.
On this trading floor, more than 131,763 MT of bitumen, 53,201MT of polymer products, 62,870 MT of VB, 15 KT of lube-cut oil, 21,517 MT of chemical products, 600 MT of insulation, 7,080 MT of sulfur, 1,000 MT of slaps waxes and 10 MT of argon were traded.
Moreover, on the agricultural trading floor 12,500 MT of sugar, 2,810 MT of maize, 89 MT of crude vegetable oil and 984 MT of feed barley were traded by the customers.
