By natural design, gender is binary, indicated by XX and XY chromosomes and reinforced by the brain’s own wiring. Scientists at the NYU School of Medicine confirm that there are two types of brains, male and female, and they are wired distinctively different in regards to aggression and mating.
By nature, male and female brains are not equal and this design cannot be interchanged, no matter what has been done to change the appearance of gender identity. This may come as a surprise to those who have bought into the lie that gender is on a spectrum. Some schools teach that there are six or more genders.
Differences between male and female aggression and mating discovered in the hypothalamus
The cells in the brain that control aggression and mating are wired differently in the male and female. In the ventrolateral part of the ventromedial hypothalamus of the female brain, cells are active for mating around the border. Cells that are active for aggression are located in the center, separate from the cells responsible for mating instinct. In the male, the wiring is different. When the male’s cells are active for mating, they are dispersed throughout. In the male brain, the cells that control aggression overlap the cells responsible for mating.
Male brains are hardwired to compete for food, territory, and a mate, whereas females are hardwired to differentiate between aggression and mating, to nurture and love. This is why men inherently desire respect before love and women desire love before respect. Their brains are hardwired to see the world through completely differently lenses. These differences are conveyed throughout all aspects of society and relationships.
“Our study furthers our understanding of how these behaviors are organized differently in female and male mice brains,” says study senior investigator Dayu Lin, Ph.D., an assistant professor at the Neuroscience Institute at NYU Langone Health.
The hypothalamus is also responsible for controlling body temperature, hunger, sleep, and many different hormone levels. The team did not study how the health and function of the hypothalamus can be compromised, leading to changes in how male and female brains work. They did say that their study could be used in the future to develop treatments for suppressing extreme aggression in males.
Hormone disruption could cause changes in gender expression
It doesn’t matter how you dress, how much makeup you wear, or how you carry yourself, gender is binary and hardwired. It doesn’t matter if you are curious to feel what it’s like to be the opposite gender. It doesn’t matter how you “identify.” Your gender was assigned to you in your mother’s womb. This is who you are. No matter how many surgeries you undergo to change it, your gender is hardwired. Some of those who have cosmetically experimented with their gender, will try to reclaim their innate gender later on. Others cling to their newfound identity in pride because of nonreversible gender-destructive steps they’ve taken.
So why do some commit to identify as the opposite gender? Using artificial hormones and cosmetic surgeries, they fight against their own brain and biology to appear and feel the opposite gender. How might poor endocrine system health play a role, influencing how they feel and perceive? How might endocrine disrupting chemicals and the suppression of the body’s hormone producing glands impact the develop of men and women? The herbicide atrazine has been scientifically studied to alter the gender of amphibians. Gender is not on a spectrum, but hormone levels can be affected by outside chemical influences. Hormones can fluctuate and influence how we feel and express ourselves intimately, but it will never be natural.
