THE nuptials of Jen Hawkins and Jake Wall are drawing ever closer as both celebrated the final days of their single lives with bucks and hens nights over the weekend.
For Hawkins, it was a couple of nights at The Star, staying at The Darling Hotel and starting with dinner at Sokyo on Friday night followed by a weekend of pampering and partying with a gaggle of mates that included her mum Gail and sister Kristy.
It’s understood the group (believed to be around 10-strong) kicked up their heels in a VIP section of Marquee on Saturday night, making short work of several bottles of French champagne and vodka.
Wall, meanwhile, opted to cross a border with a posse of pumped-up pals, marking the end of his bachelorhood by carving a swath through the Gold Coast including a few rounds of drinks at Q1’s Skypoint bar.
Plans to stage the wedding in Bali have been nixed according to a rep for Hawkins who did admit the pair may wed offshore. The location is expected to be kept under wraps with the pair understood to have signed a big-money deal to sell the exclusive to a mag.
