Khader Adnan receives message of support from former Hunger Striker Tommy McKearney
In 1980, Irish man Tommy McKearney went 53 days on a hunger strike in the H Blocks. Today, in an Israeli jail, a Palestinian man, Khader Adnan, begins his 54th day on hunger strike.
Tommy sends out a message of support for Khader, and for his family. Please support Khader in any way you can, and demand the Israeli Government release Khader who is been held without charge.
Khader Adnan receives message of support from Oliver Hughes
In 1981, after 59 days on Hunger Strike, Francis Hughes, 25, died in the H Blocks. His cousin, Thomas McElwee, 33, also died on Hunger Strike after 61 days.
Today as Khader Adnan entered his 60th day on Hunger Strike, Francis Hughes brother Oliver, sends a message of support and solidarity to Khader. Recorded Feb 14th, 2012, Bellaghy, Ireland.
